Only the best ingredients are used for our beer

Malt and hops used for production are mainly sourced in the Austrian areas Mühlviertel and Leutschach, or in Germany.
The hopscotch reaches a height of up to 6 meters. Only the female plants are cultivated.
Proven for 11,000 years: the barley grain. Our barley likes it summery. For our Steffl beers we prefer to use a two-line spring barley. Depending on the taste and strength of the beer, we use light, dark or caramel malts.

The water in our beer comes from special wells, located on the brewery premises. The water is tested regularly under strict quality control to ensure our high product quality.
